Creating a compelling campaign for The Sexton

The Aim

The Sexton came to us off the back of highly impressive organic online sales. Basically, they were moving a lot of whiskey, with very little advertising support. Research pointed to the elegance and mystique of the bottle as being key, making for a great gift or presence in a home bar. We were tasked with a campaign that supported and celebrated this insight, but also heroes the high quality of the whiskey itself, driving repeat purchase and adoption of The Sexton as everyone’s new favourite single malt.

The Game

We focused the creative on what we knew. People loved the bottle which drove purchase, and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the liquid once it was opened. And so we created “All Style. All Substance”. We developed an incredible 3D key visual demonstrating the balance of aesthetic and experience, providing static and animated assets for use in markets including Ireland, UK, Poland, France, Germany and more.

The Fame

While there is much more to come from The Sexton soon, our campaign provides the craft and quality of communication in retail and e-commerce that continues to support the craft and quality of the product.
